We wanted to take a moment to send an update on Gjelina New York & invite you to be part of a new initiative ahead of its reopening late spring —

A year ago, a fire forced us to close our Bond Street location just 30 days after opening. In anticipation of reopening in the coming months, you’re the first to hear about & be part of a hospitality program for our Gjelina NYC Community: offering a limited number of Gjelina NY House Accounts, which will give locals a standing spending balance and Friends & Family access at Gjelina NY.

A limited number of House Accounts will be exclusively available at Gjelina NY, with 2 tiers both powered by Blackbird: 

Developed in partnership with Blackbird, a loyalty and rewards platform for independent & small restaurant groups, the House Accounts combine the relationship-driven, “put it on my tab” feeling that’s always been at the heart of Gjelina combined with the technology to simplify it in practice.

This opportunity to get to know our core community of locals out of the gates is why we’re here – to create a restaurant that serves our neighborhood, to be a place where we know your name and your regular order. To offer something that’s a little old school to acknowledge your ongoing loyalty and support.

Our involvement with Blackbird speaks to a care for & belief in building new systems that allow restaurants to be sustainable in the long-term. Providing an environment where our team feels valued, supporting the farmers & vendors we believe in, while offering our communities a place to always come back to.

We’re offering a limited amount of House Accounts on a first-come, first-served basis, which may be purchased here on Blackbird.
